A high voltage electrical outage has been scheduled for Circuit LA3 for Tuesday, August 10, 2021. The outage is scheduled for 30 minutes starting at 6:00 AM and ending by 6:30 AM.
This outage was originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 3, 2021 but has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in order to provide more notice.
The purpose of this outage is to transfer loads from the Laurel Avenue substation to the Main Substation. This will negate the need to increase the contract demand with KUB for the Laurel substation which will result in some cost savings.
After this outage the buildings that are currently on Circuit LA3 will be on Circuit 10.

Nuclear Engineering
Perkins Hall
Walters Life Sciences Building
Zeenah Engineering Services Facility
Cooling only will be affected in the following buildings:
