When you "Reply" to a list server message, it is just like using "Reply All;" i.e. the whole list gets it. This is what causes the problem.

Please take your correspondence off the list server email string: send your message directly to the appropriate person whom you wish to contact using his/her personal address.

Thanks.

Hi Mary --

Can you PLEASE send the SACS compliance representatives to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE not "respond to all". I get more than 150 e-mails a day, and really do not need the additional spam.

From you, with information....I do not mind. It is the faculty responses that are really out of hand!

-Thanks!
