Director of Annual Programs, Tennessee Tech in Cookeville. Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing an annual program of fundraising activities including establishment of annual fund goals and targeted solicitations by direct mail and telemarketing to students, faculty and staff, friends, parents and alumni. Responsible for all student giving programs, reunion giving programs, recognition programs and matching gift programs. Reports to the director of university development and alumni relations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degreee, preferably in marketing or management; outstanding communications skills and ability to interact with the entire university community.High energy level and ability to motivate volunteers, particularly student telemarketers. Significant computer skills, ability to work independently; some travel and weekend work, significant amount of evening work. Minimum of 3 years development experience in higher education, but related experience that is transferable will be considered. Salary: Dependent on qualifications (mid-thirties).
