Now's the time to make a commitment for the Fall APR exam. Coming up in September, the exam consists of a daylong written test and two-hour oral interview. While challenging (the national pass rate is 70 percent) it is doable with proper preparation. Gary McKillips, our chapter APR chairman says that the key to doing well on the exam is to commit early and prepare. The chapter will sponsor preparation classes late this summer and current APRs will be available to help. The application fee for the exam is $275. The Fall 1999 exam will be administered in mid-September. Specific times and dates for the preparation classes and exam will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
