Dear Geography and Sustainability Community,

We have some wonderful special events in our Department coming up this semester-including the annual Ralston Lecture and a another Distinguished Hammond Lecture.

After a long hiatus, we are happy to announce that the Geography & Sustainability Alumni Award Ceremony is returning.

Please save the date of Thursday, March 21 and plan on attending this special event in unit history and tradition. The event will start with a reception filled with delicious food at 3:30pm and then go into the bestowing of awards and remarks at 4pm-all of it held at the Lindsay Young Auditorium at the UT Hodges Library.

We will honor five distinguished alums.
--Alaina Wood (Early Career Achievement)
--Jeremy Auerbach (Early Career Achievement)
--Paul Dudley (Mid-Career Achievement)
--Kim Pilarski-Hall (Lifetime Achievement)
--Jerry Dobson (Lifetime Achievement)

I have attached a beautiful flier advertising our alumni ceremony created by Michael Camponovo, if you wish to help us do some advertising.

Best wishes and thanks for your time.
