My name is Hannah Ciocco and I am the Collections Manager & Archivist at Fallingwater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. We are currently seeking applications for the Judy Cheteyan Fallingwater Collections Internship. This year we seek two full time, paid, ten-week residency interns to work exclusively with the archives collection as part of an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Museums for America grant project. Duties will also include housing, organizing, and updating finding aids according to national standards for DACS (Describing Archives: A Content Standard) and EAD (Encoded Archival Description). Enrollment in a graduate Library and/or Information Science program with a strong interest and relevant experience working in archives. Preference is given to those with an interest and/or experience with photo archives. Fallingwater is located in rural Mill Run, Pennsylvania, and is approximately 75 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
