Dear Geographers and Sustainers,

We are pleased to share the news that Geography 334: Meteorology, includes a new focus on oral communication and satisifies the University's AOC (Applied Oral Communication) requirement!

Better yet, there is room for you in the class!

Please consider signing up for this excellent course taught by the superb Dr. Kelsey Ellis, an expert on severe storms and on interrelationships between climate, weather, and human well-being.  This is the first time she is offering the course for AOC credit, and this is the only course in Geography that meets the AOC requirement.

The course description is below.

Lectures are 10:20-11:00 MWF in Burchfiel 101, with a lab either 2:30-4:25 Tuesday or 12:40-2:35 Monday.  Please if possible sign up for the Tuesday afternoon lab as enrollment is presently lower in that lab.

Sincerely,

Sally Horn
