Good Morning,

I am pleased to let you know that Program Assessment Feedback Reports for 2022-2023 are now available in the HelioCampus module. Please note: to ensure that all report writers (labeled as Program Coordinators within HelioCampus) receive word of feedback, there will be a follow-up email sent directly to them. As a result, some of you will receive a very similar message twice. However, the Assessment Steering Committee thought it important to notify the campus assessment community that the meta-assessment process is complete, in addition to reaching out to report writers directly.

Annual academic program assessment reports were submitted on September 22. The Assessment Steering Committee, along with trained faculty reviewers, began the meta-assessment process to provide feedback on those reports. We will be sharing these results with the deans and associate deans at their meetings in the early part of the spring semester.

For report writers/program coordinators: your feedback reports can be found within the HelioCampus module (https://planning.utk.edu) by following the below steps:

1) From the dashboard, locate the My Data Collection Forms widget, then click on the three dots on the right and select “Completed Forms.”

2) Once the option is selected, you will see completed reports. To view the feedback for each report, click the eye icon. The full report will then open, and feedback (ratings and comments) can be found at the bottom of the page.

For those who may be new to the process, the feedback reports provide a vital review of each program assessment plan, lauding those areas where you are excelling and recommending strategies for improving the overall assessment process.

Once again, our team of faculty reviewers and Assessment Steering Committee members have completed report reviews and all feedback reports so that they are available before the fall semester wraps. Please take advantage of this early access to read over the feedback soon to assist with assessments being conducted now and in the spring semester.

If you have any questions regarding your feedback, Ashley Charsha (Assistant Director of Academic Assessment in Institutional Effectiveness) is available to consult with you on any questions you may have regarding your feedback and taking the next steps in the assessment process. She can be reached at [log in to unmask]

Thank you all for your continued effort in making the assessment and improving of your academic programs a priority for your students and for the University of Tennessee.
