Good Morning,
The Cleveland Bradley County Public Library in Cleveland, Tennessee is seeking applicants for the position of Circulation Supervisor. This is a full-time position which is responsible for all aspects of department operation including : overseeing the operation of the library’s circulation desk and bookmobile; supervising a team consisting of library clerks, pages, and volunteers; overall management and curation of the library’s fiction collection including books and audio visual; providing patrons reader’s advisory; assisting patrons with complex questions; promoting the library’s programs and serve as a role-model providing quality customer service; providing feedback and recommendations regarding circulation functions and addressing the overarching circulation needs impacting the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library.
Applicants for this position should possess a MLS/MLIS from an ALA accredited college or university and at least three years of library experience including 2 years of supervisory responsibility.
The ideal candidate will enjoy both people and literature; be creative, energetic and flexible; be an effective communicator; be proficient with technology; and should be well organized and capable of working independently.
Compensation: $37,000- $40,000 and attractive benefits program including paid leave, medical/vision/dental insurance coverage, life insurance, retirement program and longevity program
