Dear SIS Community, As you may know, SIS has a strong presence in and around Northern Virginia, with a number of current students, alumni, and even a few faculty who live in, work in, or frequent this area. In recognition of our growing SIS community here, we are excited to explore the possibility of hosting our first-ever SIS NoVA Regional Meetup. This would be an opportunity for folks in this area to connect and network with each other in person, hear about the latest developments at SIS and UTK, and even entertain some perspective students. First, though, we would like to survey the SIS community to better gauge the level of interest. If you live in, work in, or otherwise often visit the Richmond, D.C., and/or Baltimore metro areas, please consider responding to this brief, anonymous survey to give us a better idea of the feasibility and scope of a meetup event.
