Subject: Graduate Student Research Colloquium

Hello Everyone,

We are excited to announce the activities related to the Graduate Student Research Colloquium this next spring Semester!  These activities include two professional development opportunities on writing an abstract and the importance of following authorship guidelines, and how to develop a poster and an oral presentation.  The colloquium itself will be on Tuesday, April 1, from 11:00 to 2:30.  Similar to last year, we will have a poster session with lunch, followed by oral presentations from our top graduate scholars.

This year we will also include our distance education students, who will be able to present posters via on online option, and if selected for an oral presentation, can present via zoom.

We will have prizes for students who are selected for the oral presentations, are selected as the top poster in their department, and who win a people’s choice award.

Looking forward to seeing you there!  Hollie
