This year GC offers different Grant Categories:
-IEEE ComSoc Grant: Supported by the IEEE Communications Society open only for students
-US National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant: Supported by the NSF open only for students
-Women in Communications Engineering (WICE) Grant: Focused on promoting women's participation in the field. Open only for students
-IEEE Conference Travel Grant open to all.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for these grants, applicants must meet the following criteria:
-Be registered for IEEE GLOBECOM 2023 and be IEEE COMSOC member.
-Co-authored an accepted peer-reviewed paper for the conference.
-Applicants from diverse backgrounds, including women, minorities, individuals from low GDP countries, beginning graduate students, and first-time GLOBECOM attendees, are strongly encouraged to apply.
-Only one student or applicant per institution will be supported.
-Postdocs, faculty, or other senior research personnel are not eligible for these grants.
The grants will cover various expenses associated with attending IEEE GLOBECOM 2023, including registration fees, travel, and accommodation costs.
These grants aim to create an inclusive environment and foster collaboration among students and individuals interested in communications and networking.
