Good Morning Geographers and Sustainers - Don't forget to stop by anytime between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm today in BGB 104 to meet with Simon Jolly and Annie Liu to learn more about internship opportunities with ESRI. Applications are now open for their summer 2024 internship programs<https://www.esri.com/en-us/about/careers/student-jobs>. Even if you don't think of yourself as a "GIS person", remember that the "ES" in ESRI stands for "environmental systems" and the company founder, Jack Dangermond, began his career as a landscape architect and urban planner. ESRI technology is used in a wide variety of disciplines relevant to our students ranging from natural disaster planning and response to climate change modeling, public health, conservation, agriculture, social services, and water resources. ESRI needs people with your skills to develop new ideas and explain to clients how GIS can be used to help solve the problems they're facing.
