Summary Of Job Duties

The Trainer – Instructional Designer position is an integral part of the Human Resources Team. This position will work collaboratively with team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders in designing, developing, and performing training and reporting materials for various projects, including but not limited to Workday, Employee/Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Orientation and Onboarding, and Offboarding. Training modalities may include (but are not limited to) technical manuals, instructional videos, eLearning modules, web-design, and instructor-led training. The position will also be expected to act as coordinator for training projects. This position will develop Workday campaigns, training, and reports. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Technical proficiency in web based educational programs and systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications for course development support, planning, data management, analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Three or more years of instructional design and development experience.
• Experience managing and administering a learning management system (e.g. Moodle, Blackboard) and utilizing data for preparation of management reports.
• Experience in project management/coordination
• Graphic design experience
• Experience in providing training for work-related software or an ERP System (such as Workday).
• At least two years’ experience using creative software (Adobe, TechSmith, Articulate, etc.).
• Design experience using WYSIWYG software (WordPress, Weebly, Wix, SharePoint, Squarespace, etc.)
• Report Writer Training in Workday
