We are pleased to announce that the next Talking Freight webinar will take place on Tuesday, July 11th at 1pm EST via zoom. 

 

Talking Freight, a series hosted by FHWA's Office of Freight Management and Operations, provides technical assistance, training, tools, and information to help the freight and planning workforce meet the transportation challenges of tomorrow. This upcoming Talking Freight webinar will include presentations on the MPO perspective on freight policy and planning, including: 

·       Southern California Association of Governments 

o   Speaker: Scott Strelecki, Planning Supervisor – Goods Movement  

·       Atlanta Regional Commission 

o   Speakers: Daniel Studdard, AICP, Principal Planner, Transportation Access and Mobility Division 

·       Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization 

o   Speakers: Keith Nichols, PE, Principal Transportation Engineer and Dale Stith, Principal Transportation Engineer 

 

There will be plenty of opportunities to engage in QA with your fellow freight practitioners through an open forum discussion. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Talking Freight seminars are eligible for 1.5 AICP Certification Maintenance Credits (for AICP members). In order to receive credit, you must attend the full seminar and login to the seminar with your full name or type your full name into the chat area during the seminar if you are in a room with a group of people. Visit the AICP web site for more information about AICP Certification Maintenance Credits. 

 

In addition, those who are interested can obtain a certificate for 1.5 PDH hours.
