Subject: Urban Forest Master Plan Forum at UT 4/19/23 3-5pm

J, Michael, Chris, and Hannah,

You may have already gotten this from other folks, but just in case I just wanted to share the attached flyer with you in the hopes that you will attend and/or will send it out to students, faculty, and staff you know who might be interested in contributing ideas to the Urban Forest Master Plan that is being created for this region.

The open forum will be this coming Wednesday, April 19th from 3-5pm in the Student Union Ballroom A.

It will start with an overview of the process to give attendees the information they need to contribute ideas effectively, followed by facilitated discussions in small groups about what folks want to see in this plan. We’re looking for a wide variety of participants from different disciplines and interests, so please pass this far and wide.

Light refreshments will be served.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks!

-Jay

The land on which we live and work is part of the traditional territory of the Tsalagi peoples (now Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, and United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians) and Tsoyaha peoples (Yuchi, Muscogee Creek).
