Hi All, Please find attached an invitation to an online event organized by the CCI Diverse Student Leaders Society (DSLS). I hope that many of you will be able to join this event. "Booker's Place" is the inspirational story of a Black waiter in the Jim Crow South, who, when asked, decided to STAND UP and tell his experience as a waiter during those times, knowing that he could face retribution. Join the DSLS student members as they learn about the making of the docufilm and talk with the director and producer Raymond De Felitta. This is an online event at 6:00 PM EST on March 21st, 2023.
