Good Morning Geographers and Sustainers – Longtime department friend Marjorie Jerez has shared a GIS opening with her team at the US Forest Service in Colorado. Some of you may know Marjorie from the career mingles we’ve had in the past, GIS Day events, and as a guest speaker for GEOG 499. Marjorie would be a great mentor and has experience working at GSMNP and with AmeriCorps.

 

As a reminder, building a federal resume is a different process than a resume for the private sector, non-profits, and other forms of government. You should set up a meeting with Alexis Andershock with the career center if you’ve never applied for a federal position before.
