Hi all - There has been some movement on the bills being tracked by TLA. The bill that would exclude classroom libraries from posting their contents is going to Senate Education Committee on March 1(SB1078 (Sen Yarbro)/HB1040 (Rep Jernigan)). If you want to testify at committee, email the Committee Chair Senator Jon Lundberg and his executive secretary [log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask] Senate Education Committee Members - If you cannot attend, one way to show how posting classroom library lists have impacted you, your teachers, and students is to email your legislator if they are on the committee or all committee members. The implicit bias training prohibition moved forward in the Senate - SB0102 (Sen Gardenhire)/HB0158 (Rep Zachary).
