If you are using VA education benefits or TN strong act benefits, please check your myutk to ensure you have a veterans deferment plan for the spring 2023 semester.
To see your deferment status please follow the instructions below.
1. Login to MyUTK
2. Scroll down to financial information
3. Click pay/view fees
4. If you're on deferment it will say it on the top of the page. It should say veterans deferment spring 23.
If you do not see the VA deferment here are some reasons:
* You have an outstanding balance from fall 22
* You have not submitted your electronic enrollment form or Tn strong act packet.
* You have a negative balance (which means that balance is refunded to you) and there are no charges to defer.
If none of these apply to you and you still don't have the deferment, please email our office at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or call us at 865-974-5420 so we can assist you.
If you do not have a deferment, and you have not made payment arrangement for spring, or have not paid your fall balance your schedule will be dropped by the Bursar Office on January 18th.
