Good Morning,

Since September, I’ve been working with 11 other top library programs to bring together libraries and non-profits interested in building relationships with our LIS students through the GLAM Virtual Career Jam for Library Students and Government, Library, Archive, and Museum Employers. I’m pleased to report we have 43 organizations registered. Throughout the Jam, organizations will host a combination of 30-minute information sessions and 10-minute one-on-one chats on Friday, February 24^th from 12-5pm EST (11–4pm CST). Student registration will open on January 30^th at 10am EST (9am CST). 

GLAM JAM CAREER EXPLORATION PANELS 

Interested in learning more about library professions in different industries? Leading up to the 2023 GLAM Career Jam, students and alumni are invited to attend our five different career panels to learn more about various library professions and to meet professionals in public, government, law, and other industries. Employers participating in the Career Jam on Friday, February 24 will be panelists, so this is also a great opportunity to learn more about different organizations ahead of the career fair.  

All career panels will be held online through Zoom and are free to attend. Please see below for details on each panel and to RSVP.
