Please see below for opportunities with the US Department of State sent from our regional Diplomat in Residence. Several have deadlines coming up in February. To my understanding GIST does NOT qualify for the FAIT Fellowship.

Happy New Year!

In 2022, the U.S. Department of State had a record year of hiring for new employees.  We also implemented a paid internship program and established a new graduate fellowship.  In 2023, we intend to build on that momentum.

Please share the following resources, and note that all our programs require U.S. citizenship to apply.

Get to Know our Diplomats

The new Diplomats' Hometowns site lets you explore the profiles of some of our colleagues:  where they grew up, what inspired them to join the Foreign Service, and where they have served.
