Undergraduates -- this might be an opportunity for you! Faculty, please share with students you know who are interested in local, state, or federal government service. Calling All Future Leslie Knopes If you know any exceptional arts and sciences majors who aspire to local, state, or federal government service in the footsteps of many notable Phi Beta Kappa members, please encourage them to apply to the Society's undergraduate Key into Public Service Scholarship by January 23, 2023. Recipients receive a $5,000 scholarship along with an educational conference experience in Washington, D.C. Membership is not required but applicants must attend a Phi Beta Kappa chapter institution. Fun fact: Michael Schur (PBK, Harvard) co-created the television series Parks and Recreation that features lead character Leslie Knope, an overachiever who believes government should serve the people.
