It’s Graduation Time in Tennessee! 

 

With a week to go until commencement ceremonies kick off, the Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM) and the Office of Alumni Relations have compiled some tips and resources for you to consider while celebrating your graduates on social media. 

 

From OCM

UT will use #UTGrad2022 when posting about this fall’s commencement. Attached to this message are two social media graphics using the hashtag. Feel free to use these to promote your ceremony or to encourage your graduates to share aspects of their experience on social media. 

 

A tweet wall with messages curated from Twitter and Instagram using #UTGrad2022 will appear on screens in Thompson-Boling arena 30 mins before the ceremony.

 

We will also be sharing commencement stories on the @utknoxville social media channels. Below is a list of the graduates being featured. Feel free to amplify these stories if it makes sense for your channels.

• Jackson Jalomo: French and Studio Art (sharing on Dec. 13)
• Stella Takvoryan: English and Linguistics (sharing on Dec. 14)

There will also be two Volunteer Stories next week:

• Teacher Prep Program: Showcasing two Memphis teachers who are graduating this December from the Grow Your Own program
• Commencement Profile: Abigail Thongbai
