Good Afternoon Geographers and Sustainers – The Tennessee Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) is meeting here in Knoxville October 26-28. For those of you interested in careers related to urban and regional planning, transportation
planning, sustainable development, housing equity, and GIS, this is a great opportunity. APA is looking for student volunteers to help with the conference and in exchange can register and participate for free.

As an FYI, numerous department alum work in these disciplines across the state and it would be a great way to meet professionals in the field.
