Good Afternoon Tennessee Librarians

We finished a good year of book reviews for the Tennessee Library Journal and I want to thank each person that took time to read and review a book for inclusion in our four issues this past year.

We're ready to start the new year and we have a ton of great new books that are either by southern authors, about southern topics, and/or are set in the south. There's a wide range of topics from surfing in the south to caverns and art to food, something for every one in every type of library.

Please see the title list below then go check out the brief synopsis for each at this link, https://tlbookrev.wordpress.com/

*Life of Black Hawk by Black Hawk
*English Lit Poems by Clay
*Dismal Freedom by Morris
*Grain and Fire by Sharpless
*Decisions at Perryville by Peterson
*Strangers and Friends at the Welcome Table by Hudnut-Beumler
*Love and Duty by Elder
*Endless Caverns by Powell
*Surfing the South by Estes
*Bonds of War by Thomson
*A South You Never Ate by Herman
*Searching for Black Confederates by Levin
*Down the Wild Cape Fear by Gerard
*Romare Bearden in the Homeland of His Imagination by Gilmore
*The Unfinished Business of Unsettled Things by Herman
*Edible North Carolina by Ferris

If you see one you'd like to review please email me at this email address and let me know what you'd like to read. It will be first come, first choice until all are complete.

Once you choose a book, I will contact you to discuss details, mail you the book, and we'll plan for which issue your review will be included.

Thank you and let's get reading!
