The Acquisitions Assistant performs highly detailed activities related to acquiring and making available to users the library resources necessary to support teaching, learning, and research at Vanderbilt in all formats and a variety of languages. This requires specialized knowledge of record and order maintenance, vendor systems and provider platforms, vendor relations, and software related to this work, as well as the ability to document procedures and train others in these tasks.
