I hope everyone is enjoying their Summer! I just wanted to let you know that we still have 8 seats available for GEOG 420 - GIS in the Community. This course is what we call a "community engaged learning course" since students in the class will be partnering with members of our community to complete projects with them. These projects are designed for students to use their experiences and draw on their collective understanding of interdisciplinary perspectives to plan, develop, and implement a GIS project that satisfies the needs of their partner-community. The class will meet TTH 12:55PM-2:10PM in BGB. This semester we will be partnering with Keep Knoxville Beautiful<https://www.keepknoxvillebeautiful.org/>, Megabites<https://www.megabitess.org/>, and UTK Facilities.
