If you have not yest submitted your proposal for the 2022 NALA Support Staff As Leaders conference, you will be happy to know that we have extended the submission deadline until Friday, July 15, 2022. [Text, logo Description automatically generated] Nashville Area Library Alliance (NALA) will host its Annual Support Staff Conference on Friday, October 21st, 2022. The conference is a day-long series of sessions aimed at providing instruction and information for all library professionals in support of our work. This years' theme will be Together Toward Tomorrow. This year we are celebrating our 4th consecutive annual conference with the focus on the future, mental health, and success throughout all professional library systems. We are excited to announce that Krystal Clark will be our keynote speaker and Dave Delaney is our finale speaker. At this time, the planning committee would like to extend a call for proposals beginning May 16th and closing June 24th. Notification of acceptance will be sent on or before July 15th. We would be honored if you would be interested in creating a presentation for our conference. Adherence to the theme is not mandatory, and a wide range of topics will be considered. All sessions will be held in person. Session lengths are 45 minutes and as a presenter, you are not required to pay the conference registration fee.
