Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 14^th.  Clinch River Chapter of Trout Unlimited is hosting a Service Partnership Event for Veterans, Active-Duty Military, and First Responders Including Law Enforcement, Fire, Rescue, EMT and Medical Personnel.  This is a Family Picnic and Guided Fishing for the entire family or for Individuals.  The Event is supported by a generous grant from Tennessee Valley Authority

 

Saturday, May 14, 2022, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Miller Island Boat Ramp on the Clinch River – River Road, Norris, TN (Andersonville on Google Maps) - Lunch Served at Noon.

Activities Include:

• Fly Casting Clinic hosted by experienced fly fishermen.
• Introduction to Fly Fishing Basics.  No Experience Necessary.
• Guided fishing on the water for adults or children.
• All Equipment Provided.  Bring your own if you have it.
• A Free Hosted Picnic Lunch is Provided.
• Meet our dedicated volunteers and Chapter members.
• A Free One-Year Introductory Membership in Trout Unlimited is available.

 

Tennessee Regulations Require Fishing Licenses for anyone age 13 or older wishing to fish.  Licenses may be purchased at WalMart or on line at www.tn.gov/twra/license-sales/fishing-licenses.html.  Some economical options:

• One-day All Species - $11.50
• Junior License, Ages 13-15 - $10 annually
• Permanent License for Disabled Veterans, 30% service connected - $10 life-time

 

Covid-19 Protocol:  Vaccination is strongly encouraged but not required.
