Dear Campus Communicators,

As you all are likely aware, the Office of Title IX has launched the Vol Voices research survey. The goal of the Vol Voices survey is to better understand campus experiences and perceptions related to sexual misconduct. Responses will provide important information for improving sexual misconduct prevention and response at UT.

The study has been reviewed and approved by the UT Institutional Review Board. To ensure objectivity, the Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS) will administer the survey, process the data, and report the results. The survey is completely anonymous and participant confidentiality a priority. No one at the Office of Title IX or other administrative offices will be able to see individual responses as all SWORPS reporting will be at the group level.

All students, faculty, and staff have been invited to participate. The survey will be accessible through an invitation that has been sent from [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to campus email addresses or can be accessed here<https://titleix.utk.edu/vol-voices-research-survey/>. The student survey will be open through May 10, and the faculty and staff survey will be open through May 31.

Students are eligible to win one of thirty VolCard gift cards, with five gift cards being awarded each week. The earlier students complete the survey, the higher the value of the gift cards-up to $100.

I hope you will promote this important research survey among your colleagues and students, and that you will take part yourself. Graphics are attached for use in newsletters, emails, and, digital dispalys and other media.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of the Office of Title IX.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Kindest regards,
Laura
