Hi Stephanie, For OSU, we follow the same as Susan describes below. We do not pay for the CDL, we see it as a license the employee owns and can take with them if they were to leave OSU. The cost to maintain the license is reflected in the salary. We do track positions that require a CDL to make sure the incumbent stays certified has taken the mandatory trainings.
