Good Morning Geographers and Sustainers – Our friends at GSMNP are looking for some volunteers to help out with a field project and park visitor education later this spring. If you need volunteer or service hours for a class or just want an excuse to spend time at the park, this looks like a great opportunity.

Hi Michael,

I am not sure if you remember me but I was an AmeriCorps member for Knox County Stormwater last year. I am now serving in Great Smoky Mountains National Park as a GIS technician. I am also recruiting volunteers to help be rovers in a wildflower area called Whiteoak Sink. Would you be interested in sending this out to the Geography department to gauge any interest?
