As most of you likely know, the UT Office of Sustainability falls under Facilities Services. As such, we partner with them to spread the word about events and information that affects the campus at large. Please see email below regarding the nomination period for the 2022 Environmental Leadership Awards. We’d greatly appreciate you passing this information along to your units/teams. Let’s help ensure that Sustainability has a robust selection of candidates who help to Make Orange Green!

The Office of Sustainability is now taking nominations for the 2022 Environmental Leadership Awards. This event recognizes students, faculty and staff, and  Knoxville community organizations that help to Make Orange Green through their environmental leadership. There are 7 different award categories which you can learn more about here on our website.

Nominations will be considered by the Committee on the Campus Environment and winners will be announced at the ELA's on April 7th, 2022. Please pass this along to your students, colleagues, and community partners! From promising students to seasoned professionals, we know there are many individuals who go above and beyond for our campus environment and we want them to be recognized!
