Information Literacy…in 3D! Using Mozilla Hubs with Matthew Chase
Matthew Chase (he/him) from University of St. University for Health Sciences will share an innovative pathway to engage students using Mozilla Hubs, a virtual 3D collaboration technology. Hubs is an open-source
tool that allows users to enter highly interactable and customizable virtual spaces from their browser, mobile device, or VR headset. Participants will learn how Hubs can be effective and accessible for a variety of information literacy purposes, including
synchronous and asynchronous instruction, scholarship and conferencing, and student engagement. Participants will be able to interact with some examples of Matthew’s efforts to incorporate Mozilla Hubs at his institution.
