If yes, then please join me in conducting research and developing an online undergraduate course focused on DEI for Information Technology
Careers. This course will be offered in Fall 2022 as an elective course in the BSIS program at SIS.

This is a great opportunity to learn about technology and the latest research on DEI initiatives globally. You will work with a team of
graduate and undergraduate research assistants and experts in DEI and IT education. You will learn how to conduct research, how to develop course content, and how to publish research results. The majority of my students engaged in research projects end up
publishing research articles with me, and you can expect to be a co-author in published research as well. You will have opportunities to participate in conferences (in person or virtually – dependent on Covid travel restrictions).
The GRA position is to commit up to 20 hours per week and will be paid $15.00 per hour.
