First-Year Programs Seeks Fall Instructors for FYS 101, TRNS 201 and FYS 129

The Office of First-Year Programs is looking for faculty, exempt staff, and administrators who want to enhance the experience of incoming transfer and first-year students. As an instructor you’ll connect with new students, offer support, and provide guidance so they can be successful and find their place in the UT community. Peer Career Advisors Needed

The Center for Career Development and Academic Exploration (CCDAE) is seeking reliable, detail-oriented, communicative students to apply to be Peer Career Advisors (PCAs). First, second, and third year students from all majors are invited to apply. PCAs are trained and supervised paraprofessionals who provide career development assistance on a peer-to-peer level through the CCDAE. This is a part-time, paid, on-campus position that is flexible around their academic schedule.

 

In the PCA role students will get to:

• Deliver resume critiques and practice interviews to peers
• Build their own work skills and broaden their professional network
• Contribute to a team supporting UT student’s career development

 

Students should complete their application via Handshake by February 13, 2022.
