Commission for International Adult Education (CIAE)
2022 International Pre-Conference
American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) Annual Conference
Hyatt Regency Milwaukee | Milwaukee, Wisconsin
October 10-11, 2022
The Commission for International Adult Education (CIAE) is pleased to open its call for proposals for the 2022 Pre-Conference, held in conjunction with the 71st Annual Conference of the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education. The conference
theme is "Adaptability, Flexibility, and Sustainability: Adult Education in Dynamic Times." CIAE is seeking proposals for presentations that fit this theme and raise awareness of global issues in adult education from transnational, multi-directional, multicultural,
and/or indigenous perspectives.
Successful proposals will:
-
have an international focus on content worth the attention of an international audience. We consider any topic that addresses an issue outside of the U.S. “international.”
-
concern a subject related to adult and continuing education/other education-related topic.
-
have a title that reflects the abstract.
-
result in a proceedings paper of high enough quality to qualify for archiving in the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) database.
Session format: 20-minute presentation, including Q&A.
Please note: If your presentation is accepted, you will need to submit a full paper (8-12 pages) to be included in the Proceedings to be distributed to all CIAE Pre-Conference participants.
