Dear Undergraduate Geography and Sustainability Students: I will teach GEOG 517, which is designed as a Geodatabase Design course, at 1:10 - 2:25 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Spring 2022. This course welcomes undergraduate students who have taken GEOG 311 or an equivalent course to join us. You will learn how to create GIS databases with your own data using Esri ArcGIS software. This course will put you ahead of those people who only know how to use existing GIS datasets. You will have competitive advantages when potential employers need someone to create customized GIS databases of their own data or when you need to pursue research with your own data.
