The University Libraries at the University of Tennessee is committed to recognizing and appreciating the variety of characteristics that make people and communities unique. The UT Libraries puts this concept into action by intentionally selecting and maintaining inclusive resources and modeling behaviors that enable the entire Volunteer community to learn and share discoveries. The Accessibility Coordinator will work as part of a team to acquire library electronic resources, and will work independently and collaboratively to ensure all licensed and purchased electronic resources are accessible. For resources that are not accessible, the Accessibility Coordinator will assess products and create equally effective alternative access plans, or recommend against licensing. The Accessibility Coordinator will document decisions and communicate them in a clear and timely manner to stakeholders.
