News for ELPS Graduate Students What's Your Work About? Next Tuesday, October 12, from 5:30-7:00pm the third session of What's Your Work About? will be held on Zoom. This is a change from the original announcement, which indicated that it would be in-person. This session, Research as Storytelling, will be virtual and will be talking about how to present your research in a more performative form, such as spoken word. We will be discussing how to develop a 30-second elevator pitch and a three-minute thesis for your research. An iThenticate Tutorial Hosted on October 27 from 1-2:30pm by the Coordinator of Student Services, this presentation will provide students with a comprehensive overview for accessing and using the iThenticate plagiarism detection software. Following the presentation there will be a Q&A panel featuring Sarah Pruett, Assistant Vice Chancellor for the Responsible Conduct of Research & Institutional Research Integrity Officer and Rachel Caldwell, Associate Professor and Scholarly Communications Librarian.
