This is a reminder that the annual China Townhall is taking place on zoom on Tuesday, Oct. 19th. There is still time to register to attend. The event is open to the public. Please feel free to share with whomever you deem appropriate.

 

The annual event from 7 to 9 p.m. ET on Oct. 19 connects Americans with leading China experts to discuss the impacts of China’s global rise on China-U.S. relations and analyze its local and national effect in the United States. The local panel is hosted by UT’s Office of Asia Engagement, Department of History, and the Asian Studies Program at UT, in collaboration with TN-China Network. 

7 p.m. -- National webinar featuring Fareed Zakaria, CNN host and bestselling author
8 p.m. -- Local Panel Discussion via Zoom, featuring panelists:

·         Virginia Harper Ho, Earl B. Shurtz Research Professor, The University of Kansa

·         Margaret K. Lewis, Professor of Law, Seton Hall University
