Getting Started with Grant Writing

In a time when budgets are rapidly shrinking, more and more libraries are turning to external funding, such as grants, to help fund special initiatives, projects, or services.

If you’ve never written a grant proposal before, it can be a daunting task to keep track of all the required forms and documents.

This course will focus on:

·     What makes a strong proposal

·     The typical review process

·     How to ease into the world of grants by identifying funding sources

This course consists of one two-hour session:

Tuesday

October 5

10:00 am - 12:00 pm CDT
