Assistant Supervisor for Serials

Lila D. Bunch Library at Belmont University is looking for a motivated individual to join our Asset Management Team. Under the leadership of the Asset Management Librarian, the Assistant Supervisor for Serials manages print and electronic journal subscriptions from acquisitions to delivery, supports the Electronic Resource Management Librarian in tracking databases and management of renewals, runs reports on electronic serials usage, maintains union list information on file with OCLC, and engages in some copy cataloging work. Job responsibilities include electronic and print serials management and some copy cataloging duties.

 

Education:  Two years college; bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience or combination of education and experience will be considered.

 

Experience:  Required: 2-5 years’ experience working in library collection management/technical services environment; other library and data entry experience helpful

 

Salary Range: $35,700 - $43,000
