Managers and leaders frequently find themselves maneuvering through a variety of situations such as obtaining buy-in, defending library resources and services, and resolving conflicts.

 

While negotiating is a much-needed skill for information professionals and managers to possess, there is often hesitation to attempt it.

 

Come learn the basic skills and tools managers need to successfully understand how to approach daily situations and problems through negotiation techniques and to alleviate some of the anxiety associated with the word “negotiating.”
