I am excited to inform you that today Iman successfully defended his manuscript-style dissertation on “Public Health Emergencies and Public Opinion on Social Media: A Framing and Network Agenda-Setting Study of COVID-19.”  

 

Iman’s first manuscript on “Framing of and attention to COVID-19 on Twitter: A thematic analysis of hashtags” is currently under review in a top-tier journal. His second manuscript on “How does WHO influence followers on Twitter? Network agenda-setting of COVID-19” will soon be under review.

He is co-authoring both manuscripts with all members of his dissertation committee: Drs. Devendra Potnis, Vandana Singh, Laura Miller, and Ehsan Mohammadi (South Carolina).
