Dear undergraduates, This fall, I will teach GEOG 313: Geospatial Field Methods of UAVs, Lidar, and GPS, with our GIS lab manager, Nathan McKinney. This course will provide field work and lab experience in using UAVs (small drones), LiDAR, and GPS to obtain, process, and analyze geospatial data. The field component will teach how to use the UAV, LiDAR, and GPS equipment to obtain data. The lab component teaches how to process and analyze the data. This course was originally scheduled on Friday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:30 pm. After receiving some feedback, we have adjusted it to 2:50-4:05 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. We hope that this revised schedule will allow more students to enroll this course. Attached please find an updated flyer for this course. Please let me know if you have any question.
