Hello friends and colleagues, Many of you have heard, but I will be fulfilling a long-term goal of transitioning into full-time teaching in the fall. I have accepted a full-time faculty role teaching digital and visual marketing courses in the department of marketing in Haslam. I am excited and even a bit nervous if I am being honest! This is the largest pivot of my career and likely my final one. I am already transitioning out of my role and taking silly amounts of annual leave to prepare for my new role, but am officially around through the end of June and likely into July as I finish up a search that I am chairing myself. This transition leaves my position open in CEHHS. I have an small but amazing, talented, and dedicated team. The work that CEHHS does and the stories that you could be a part of telling are the best on campus (ok, maybe I am a little partial). This role is a part of a core leadership team and we have a new (1 year) dean that is open to all kinds of ideas and suggestions. This role will also have the ability to work hybrid or remotely for much of the time as my team and I were super productive and made that case for the future. So, what are you waiting for? Apply! Orrrr pass onto someone else that you think would be perfect. The search is on and my team deserves awesomeness in leadership! https://ut.taleo.net/careersection/ut_system/jobdetail.ftl?job=21000000WP&tz=GMT-04%3A00&tzname=America%2FNew_York Cheers, Jules [http://images.utk.edu/images/interface/ut-emailsignature.gif] Jules Morris Director of Marketing and Communications The University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences Room 336 Claxton Education Complex 1122 Volunteer Blvd Knoxville, TN 37996 [log in to unmask] cell (865) 719-7072 cehhs.utk.edu Big Orange.
