Hi everyone; our OSU Extension Program Assistants do not have levels and are currently at $10 - $13/hr but we are about to raise campus minimum to $11/hr so this will likely adjust to $11 - $14. % of Time Responsibility / Duty 55 Program Planning and Implementation: Under the direction of the CED and the supervising educator(s) the program assistant will: * Develop knowledge of social economics, political, and cultural characteristics of the county. * Contribute to the development of plan for identification, recruitment and training of volunteers to support Extension programs. * Research materials and assist in preparing teaching materials for Extension programs. * Allocate time for staff development, staff conference, report preparation, office management and maintenance of relationships with other organizations. * Promote Extension programs within the county. * Work to obtain facilities, supplies and materials for conducting Extension programs. * Refer to document "Appropriate Roles and Relationships of an Extension Educator and County Program Assistant". 45 Program Evaluation: * Aid the CED and supervising educator(s) in evaluating the effectiveness of the program assistant's designated responsibilities. * Maintain appropriate records, input data and prepare reports regarding progress with clientele reached and volunteer involvement for overall program evaluation. * Participate, as required, in the preparation of monthly, annual and/or special reports as a means of reporting accomplishments and evaluating program effectiveness * Participate in staff conferences for the purpose of discussing program progress. * Other duties as assigned. Mostly EFNEP or TNCEP funding. We do have some that are county funded that do 4-H programs or work on 4-H grants Our level I mostly admin support to the program Our Level II teach created curriculum for the program Our Level III teach, create curriculum and train Level II's.
