Colleagues,

In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Cultural Heritage Month in May, the Office of Asia Engagement, in collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Heritage Working Group, are hosting a virtual conversation with author, activist, and former journalist, Helen Zia.

The event is happening on Wednesday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. EST and is open to UT students, staff, faculty, and the general public. Attendees can register in advance at tiny.utk.edu/HelenZia<http://tiny.utk.edu/HelenZia> and submit their questions for Helen.

Our goal is to bring awareness to the hate crimes against our AAPI community by providing educational programming and resources to our UT local and global community.

We would appreciate your help to promote the event!
